The short list of Swedish companies includes a selection of large cap firms of more than $10 billion, actively traded and accessible to U.S. investors,  traded OTC or on U.S. exchanges for Spotify , valued at $124 bn, and telecommunications firm LM Ericsson  , valued at $26 bn

Described sometimes as a 'mini-Berkshire', Investor AB is a $90 bn + private equity firm specializing in mature, middle market, buyouts and growth capital investments

The firm is an industrial conglomerate with very large stakes in European companies such as Swiss ABB (14.3% voting rights) or British Astra Zeneca (3.5%)  , in numerous Swedish firms (Atlas Copco, Electrolux, Ericsson, Husqvarna, Nasdaq, Saab, SEB, Sobi and Wartsila) and in EQT AB private equity (14%); wholly owned companies are grouped in the Patricia Industries business segment

With a market cap of $90 bn, the stock is poorly traded on OTC, surprisingly because of the second largest market cap on the Swedisch market, behind Spotify - but not ignored by the U.S. institutional investors Vanguard  (2.88% held) and BlackRock (2.37%) - as of Dec.31 2024 - Fidelity, listed previously, is not currently a top 10 shareholder

Very poorly traded (or not traded at all) over the past year, an extensive list of large cap Swedish firms is not included in the selection but listed for investor information with market cap as of Feb. 2025

Loosely traded on OTC markets, the shares performance will usually reflect the trend but not the actual performance on their home market, adjusted for currency shifts -  their track record  on OTC is strictly informative and might justify further research

With low trading volume on U.S. OTC markets  for the listed shares, performancevolatility and drawdown calculations will be affected - these ratios do not reflect true performance, volatility and drawdown as these same shares are normally traded on their national exchange

Asset information does not include fundamental accounting data information for OTC (over-the-counter) quoted firms
