This overview includes all U.S. listings on NYSE, NASDAQ or by broker-dealer (OTC) - with limitations for poorly traded OTCs

Three selections of Japanese companies listed on U.S. markets provide relevant details

This selection has set aside the following companies displaying extreme performance or volatility (as of Aug. 15, 2025) - $9 bn Kikkoman , $42bn NEC  Corp.  Invalid tag asset and $16bn OBIC Co.

Loosely traded on OTC markets, the shares performance will usually reflect the trend but not the actual performance on their home market, adjusted for currency shifts -  their track record  on OTC is strictly informative and might justify further research

With low trading volume on U.S. OTC markets  for the listed shares, performancevolatility and drawdown calculations will be affected - these ratios do not reflect true performance, volatility and drawdown as these same shares are normally traded on their national exchange

When, for lack of sufficient trading data, volatility and performance ratios are irrelevant, or the price data set incomplete,  the companies concerned are not included in the selection

Our platform of asset information will include fundamental data information for companies listed on US markets, but not for the many OTC (over-the-counter) quoted firms

To highlight momentum and check trends, selected a short time frame - from two weeks to six months - on the menu (top right)

Investors are free to bookmark stocks of interest and to test investments in their virtual portfolio

The fundamental accounting data of Canon , including Market Cap, have not been updated since the firm's delisting from NYSE in March 2023
